Dear Captain Dave:
Just a thank you from Jillia and her mom Chris for the experience of the boat cruise! It was amazing, fun, cool and exciting! Those are Jillias words! She is a 14 yr. old girl.
We adopted her as a 2 week old infant that was going to be blind, deaf and never walk or talk! Wow! What a miracle child we were given! She does it all! How we have been blessed! Jillia has talked to her siblings non stop about the boat trip!
She sang for Captain Dave the songs that she makes up herself. She also talked to him about her angel experiences and how she can see angels! Wow and he just took the time and listened to her! She loved the fact that he held her hand and wiped her face! She says people sometimes treat her like she has a disease, because she tends to drool a lot and limp with her walk! But she never felt uncomfortable around you Captain Dave!
She giggled when she told her brother: “I even drooled ice cream on my face and he didn't care! He wiped it off!” LOL she liked to steer the boat! She tells her brothers she made a friend! It's just sometimes the simple things in life that make a difference! So we say a big thank you again for making a difference in another child's life!
